Breakfast: a feast of delicious treats
7.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m.
The breakfast room smells of wood and freshly brewed coffee. Plate in hand, you approach the buffet, a lavish spread of the very finest produce. With all this abundance on offer, all you have to do is choose your energy boost for today: a slice of cake or some crusty bread with cheese from the Ladin valleys? You take both, and to finish off, you treat yourself to some fresh fruit or a revitalising glass of freshly squeezed juice. A breakfast like this makes you feel on top of the world! With us, your morning gets off to a delicious start. Every day.
Dolomites-style “Stube” parlour + honesty bar
24 hours a day. Whenever you like!
You get hungry in the mountains. That’s why Chalet Barbara has an honesty bar: help yourself to whatever you like and pay for everything at the end of your stay. The Dolomites-style “Stube” parlour is always open. So, no matter what time you return from the slopes, your excursions, or the adults-only spa (16+), you’ll always find a cosy spot to enjoy a snack!
Snack platters, sandwiches, and more
Every day from 3.30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Whether you’re looking for a simple lunch, a tasty snack, or a quick bite, the bar is the place to go. We prepare delicious snack platters and sandwiches, and we also have high-quality, ready-made hot pasta dishes. A treat that’s always welcome after a morning in the mountain air!
Nicolò’s aperitif

Exclusively for our guests, the aperitif is a feast of regional delicacies and delicious drinks, such as Banfi Brut sparkling wine or refreshing gin and tonics, as well as non-alcoholic Alpine favourites like “Skiwasser”. Sounds good, right?
Dining out
As a B&B in Arabba, Chalet Barbara does not have an in-house restaurant, which means we do not serve dinner. However, our guests are entitled to a 10% discount at the restaurant at Sporthotel, a 4-star hotel owned by us but managed by others. And if you fancy a change one evening, just ask us: we’ll recommend the best restaurants nearby and let you know about any special offers available!

That’s what Greta and Nicolò picture when they think of their mountain hut, which is located a little further up from Chalet Barbara. It’s a vision that could soon become a reality.
